moving along

`
goodness
i can't put the book down
it's so good
but
must
+
the book is a hefty one
where will i find the time to fall into these pages
?
{sigh}

`
just like that
!
last Sunday to be exact
{"You're In!"}
that's what the letter read
her first college acceptance letter
we burst into happy dances
all around the kitchen
tears
clapping
phone calls
i am so proud of our girl
{smh}
it's too soon
she will be moving away
i miss her already
+
my homeschooling days are coming to an end
a retirement of sorts
{sad face- happy face}
all the emotions

`

`
we ate this pretzel for breakfast on Sunday
+
we all voted it be a tradition on Sunday morning
like pancakes
or
french toast
swoon
!

`
`
`
`

`
`
`
i went looking for a reading chair
i think i found one
{leather}
{brown}
needs a good breaking in
and
a warm corner
next to a reading lamp...
i only left the store with these sweet place mats
another look at the chair tonight
{perhaps}
life is moving along at a rapid pace
`
`
`
palms clasped
God is good
`
x.

I love the Chinese bamboo flute and this soothing music.

Your news is so wonderful but it is also bittersweet for us parents to have our children leave the nest.
We give them roots and wings don't we.
I must get that book from the library.
I love your postings.
Blessings to you all
Jeanne

Congratulations to your sweet girl on her college acceptance! Such an exciting time... My son is home for Spring Break...I sleep better with all my babies in their own beds. I miss him so much when he's gone, but am also filled with pride and happiness that he is doing what he wants to do in life, doing it well, and loving every minute of it. She'll do great...and you? Me? I guess we have no choice but to accept that our babies grew up...xoxo

I am so excited for your sweet girl. You should feel so very proud of yourself. You did it, sweet mam, you did it.

I just finished reading that book and now the characters are living in my head. I want to know what is going to happen to them in the future, wishing and hoping for the best for them. Beautiful book! Congratulations with the college acceptance.

Exciting time for your girl for sure. I have started this book and looking forward to be captured by it. Oh pretzels for breakfast, the very best thing.

I felt the same way about The Goldfinch. I will be curious however, to hear what you think of the very end. I will say no more.

Always cozy by you.
