i died and went to heaven over this book
i am so glad i gave it a chance
station eleven is one of the best books i've ever read
{what are you reading?}
`
banana bread is on the menu
i'm roasting a chicken as well
{What are you cooking?}
`
i turned the heat on last week to warm the house
{sigh}
{already}
`
+
 i met a deadline for a magazine article
{can't wait to share which one}
`
we dropped baby girl back at school
{after autumn break}
but
not before
we shopped for yarn
and
tights
and

I've heard good things about Station Eleven, too. Now I'll add A Feast of Love to my list. Happy October to you, too. Hope it's a sweet one.

Hello friend. Our worlds seem to be running parallel. Fall is here, leaves are scattered, and rain is falling.
I met 2 magazine deadlines last week. Gah! I finished We Were Liars .. and while I liked (not loved) it, it did get me reading again. I will take you up on the Station Eleven book and dive into that while working on my new chunky cowl. I think if we lived closer, we would be besties. Have a wonderful weekend. xo

Happy October! Low's in the 60s and highs in the 80s here and the humidity is on the way back ... but only for a few days before it "cools" again. I'm reading Doris Kearns Goodwin's Pulitzer Prize winning, No Ordinary Time: Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt: The Home Front in World War II ... a left over from watching the Roosevelts on PBS, I guess. A corn chowder may be in my cooking future. Stay warm!

@Carol I really wanted to like "the feast of love"... let me know how you like it. Station Eleven was brilliant, let me know...

@Bella I agree about "we were liars" it was the read that brought me back to reading daily, after being out of the loop for a few weeks.

@Snap adding "no ordinary time" to my list. thank you so very much, for your kind words.

@dsmith thank you lovely.

@joanna thank you my friend.
