awakening
I wish I could bottle these days, you know, the days in between the holidays, where you find glimpses of stillness and silence. I have come to realize that 2013 was the year of getting to what matters. Not that I dismissed the lessons and chapters of the all the in between, it's just that somewhere along the way, the day came where I beautifully surrendered to the map of my story, which led me to the important things in life.
"The coming to consciousness is not a discovery to some new thing; it is a long and painful return to that which has always been."- Helen Luke
I am forever grateful for 2013, God remains my strength in life, and I can't wait to see what 2014 brings our way. Happy New Year, my dear friends!!
PS: Thank you for the kindest notes, on my being back in this little space. x

The week between Christmas and New Year has always been my favorite time of year...when everything has slowed down yet the family are often together.
