...
autumn arrived
{love}
along with the new season came the cold weather and rain
besides hiding with a stack of coffee table books
we headed to our favorite irish inn for dinner
a bit of a drive
but
it meant having irish stew
and
sharing a warm bowl of colcannon
`
on to some knitting tonight
+
a cup of tea
while the game is on
`
life is SO good enough
`
stay warm my friends

Looks cozy! My favorite time of year. Sweater weather and stew and tea and fires...
It arrived here in the UK too - with a vengeance! Non-stop rain and wind yesterday so had to spend Sunday snuggled up indoors!!
I'm wondering if I can get through autumn without posting any photos of leaves on my blog :-)
Yes, I love hearing about your good life and just the simple things you cherish.
I am still waiting for autumn to arrive here in the south! Lots of knitting and Irish stew sounds wonderful.
Oooh. I had colcannon last year for the first time. It was delicious! Now I want Irish stew and colcannon myself. I wonder where I could find some.
(I have a stack of new-to-me LM Montgomery books by my bed that I have been making my way through. It really is the best fall activity.
It's arrived here too.
I am sure a bowl of Colcannon would make it seem more bearable. x

Sitting in our cottage with a fire burning and just listening to the crackle and pops of the wood is so nice.
Perfect day and evening. The photo looks so cozy, warm lighting, love it!
