while we were away, i googled indie bookstores in the area. bingo! when i walked in, it was book heaven. we found a sofa for the afternoon, and read away. it was one of the most beautiful times i have had, with my hubby.

I love finding great bookstores. I'm glad you had a delicious afternoon.
I love the way this bookstore looks with it's signs on the shelves. What a special place to hang out. This book is now on my wish list, thanks. A friend recently served a tea called the language of flowers, where each food item was incorporated with a flower that told a story. Flowers do tell beautiful stories indeed.
I am almost done with the book...gah...I am going to miss those characters!!! Enjoy! xo

Gosh, I love bookstores and I'm sorry to see fewer and fewer every month. They are pure heaven to me.
And Happy Sweet 16 to you sweet daughter. I'm cheering her Olympic dreams on from Los Angeles. I'd love to see her on tv with a big American flag draped around her shoulders in victory!
