thank you and somerset life magazine ~

....
"if you walk down the street and someone is with you,
he'll adjust to your pace or you to his, and you'll never be aware of it.
there is no effort.
it simply happens.
and the same thing can happen, with the rhythm of your life."
sidney poitier
`
some of you have sent me emails
mentioning the article i wrote for somerset life magazine
ironically many of the emails mention the quote i used above
 it's from mr. poitier's book
"the measure of a man"
a book that is never far from my grasp
and
if it was the last book i read it in life
it would be just fine with this soul of mine
it's just that profound in my life
the book is like a love letter to the islands
`
thank you for coming here and visiting me
on my good days
on my bad days
....to know my story has touched others
palms clasped
....
i am honored to be your pages, with such talented artists.
big smile
`
xoxo

I'm heading to Chapter's later in the week and as well as Somerset Life I will also look for Sidney Poitier's book ~ Thank you for sharing one of his quotes which I will jot down in my book of quotes.

I found you through S.L magazine!! I sat in B&N last week thinking, did I just read this?! It was that last paragraph that got me. Your story, nothing short of amazing. I felt like your photos were art I could hang on my wall.

I am behind getting my latest Stampington & Company fix!! I usually have several of them, this one included, the second they come out! Tomorrow lovey, tomorrow! Can't wait. If you will recall, it is how I met you in the first place. I read your feature in, I believe it was in Artful Blogging, and the rest is history. Congrats Christina, and I'm thinking I need you to talk Jamaican to us real soon! xx, Margie
