"truffles are at their ripest now and in february"
That must be rosemary being used as a book mark. I really like this photo. The fingerless gloves, the nail polish, the color of the book and of course the rosemary. Wow.
What are you reading this cold January Day?I have to study for a big test till the 9 th but have a long list of good books to read for 2012.Your photos always warm my soul.
Yes, there is something soft and beautiful about the light this time of year. I enjoy being in my art room first thing in the morning when everything is so bright. I just noticed your daughter's black nail polish. Over the holidays, I noticed that my nieces were wearing the same colour on their nails. Hmmm...so THAT'S what in right now...
Oh, was tickled to be reminded of Sara Mida...aren't her illustrations charming. Have her gardening book, but am still on the look out for her travel in Paris. Thanks for the happy reminder and the lovely light filled photo!

Did you knit those? Beautiful .... and alas, the light is gorgeous, but I am stuck in a fluorescent lit cubicle for the daylight hours!
