there are few celebrities i notice. i am not really into that kind of stuff. ah, but when it comes to some of the strong, regal women i melt where i stand. how could i speak on love this week, without speaking about ali macgraw, and the movie "love story". love her!

ali macgraw is 72 and looking more beautiful than ever. when i saw her on the february cover of town and country magazine, i had to bring it home with me. the movie love story is one of my favorites. the first time i really took notice of this movie, was in the late 1970's. my mother sat on our sofa, watching jenny and oliver (ryan o'neil), my mother cried gently into a tissue. i was barely 10 years old, but this emotion caught my attention. one viewing and i understood- it was love, and i was hooked.

That movie makes me cry and I just love it! My brother drove Ali MacGraw to a event once. He said she was the most gracious person he had ever chauffeured. Really down to earth. I'm gonna grab that magazine for him and his wife.

Hi Christina, I didn't know, nor think that Ali McGraw was that old! She sure looks good. I remember Love Story and you're right that was a good movie. I even remember the guy who took me to see it and that's eons ago for me!
Good Lord, she is still beautiful. And I love that quote by her. I feel the same way, but it seems there is always pressure to be part of a partnership, but I feel like I lose myself in it each time. I still struggle to find that balance.
