in the moment we are timeless ~

....
"creativity occurs in the moment, and in the moment we are timeless". ~ the artist's way everyday, a year of creative living.

it just seems like it was a long week. i think i am still wishing that the lazy days of the holiday break, were here. we could call it something like... a well needed break, after the holidays, break. : )

i have a few photo projects that i will be working on, this weekend. and a chocolate coffee cake caught my attention, so i would like to slip making that, in to the weekend... between knitting and shuffling around the house.

what's your weekend look like? please, do share.

i have a mosaic post up over at mortal muses, i chose 16 lovely photos, from our flickr pool. stop on over and take a look see. link up if you can, i would love to see your fresh photos.

have a most lovely weekend.

I love that you say "shuffling around the house"...those are my favorite days. Unfortunately I won't be able to "shuffle" until Sunday as we will be at Ian's wrestling tournament ALL DAY tomorrow. But that's ok...he loves it...and is pretty darn good. So it'll be worth it. I'll shuffle a bit today to make up for it. ;)

Oh yes, this week has just been so l-o-n-g! I am exhausted and am prayful that this is a sign of my year.
This weekend I have plans to sit in the sun and knit, then come in and knit some more. Maybe put a little paint to canvas or charcoal to paper. My creative nature needs some release after this week. Oh, and made a promise to candy some orange peels for a fourteen year old who appreciates good food.
Much love to you Christina, please share how your coffee cake unfolds.

I, too, will be unable to shuffle as for tomorrow & the following three Saturdays, we will be traveling for son's basketball games - all out of town. He loves it, so I"ll have to squeeze in shuffling time some other time :-)

Lovely post and such a beautiful photograph. Are you doing the Artist's Way?

No particular plans for the weekend; I'm hoping to do some photography and reading. Maybe some closet cleaning which is not fun but always makes me feel good especially at beginning of the year.

Have a great weekend.

I have been absent from here for far too long and need to say Happy New Year Christina! As for my weekend...I have the grandchildren for a sleepover so I will be going to bed early too as they get up with the sunrise...and then a trip to the Children's Museum is planned. It is always fun there:) Hopefully I will find some weekend time for catching up on my photo projects and favorite blogs:)

This setting looks so calm and inviting. Seeing it reminds me to slow down some this weekend so that I can fully appreciate the simple pleasures of down time.

You say shuffling around; I say putzing around, and I am enjoying my weekend too. Crocheting a hat; visiting my mom on the phone; doing some reading. Oh, and also staying warm.

Kicking back as much as possible. Gonna take the Christmas decos down now that Epiphany has come and gone. The house always looks so weird once that occurs, not as cozy, kind of blah.

you are a warm hug even when you are shuffling about.

Wishing you all good things and then some for the New Year.

thank you for being a part of my journey thus far.

love the pictures of "fresh". I hope your weekend is everything and more than you had hoped for. Today I attended the last holiday party of the season and it was a delight. A potluck with my swim friends. There was a delicious flan, tortilla casserole, ham, shredded beef and so many wonderful yummies.

After a LONG and difficult work week, I enjoyed the simple pleasures of home, playing with my camera and "puttering" around the house. Delicious!

I love this quote. The photo of your coffee and journal brings a warm, cozy feel. You weekend sounds perfect! Mine has been spent writing, drawing, and grocery shopping. I highly recommend getting stuck bringing out groceries in the rain. It was refreshing! Truly gorgeous with lightning streaking across the January sky.

Do you know that I JUST saw your post last APRIL?!?!? Please forgive me! I am doing good. I wish you and your family a Happy 12! I am updating my blog, and I will be back this week. LOVE YOU!!!

PS: I have been cooking my booty off and thinking about you. WHY do I want a set of Le Creuset pots and pans with my broke self? :)
