19 ladlefuls of love:
I love those candy canes! And I love the old B&W films at the Holidays. I watched "The Bishop's Wife" the other night and then "Christmas in Connecticut" came on. Takes us back to simpler times...and a little sunshine at this time of year goes a VERY long way!! xo
Our Santa comes at Christmas Eve and most of the festivities are on that day.
i just started making a list of what i'll be taking to my sister's house christmas day....crab dip and pumpkin dip are the first two things on the list.....next i'll add shrimp cocktail.

I will just take those candy canes, please. Since there is only three of us this year, we will go out to a nice buffet. I am looking forward to it.
Sending you a loving hug to cheer you, Christina.
I'm getting up bright and early Christmas morning to be with Godson and his Mom when they open their presents. Then the 3 of us will make a big breakfast together.... Bacon is in our future :-)
Christmas love to you and your family. xoxoxo jj
Those Candy Canes look beautiful, I had some I put on my tree and the other morning I came out and there was a bunch missing, later in the day I saw my dog go over to the tree and tenderly take one off the tree, this must mean he ate the wrappers and all. I moved them all. lol. wishing you a wonderful Christmas. we are going to MIL's for Christmas day. I am making honey glazed carrots, and my famous stuffing, and I can hardly wait to eat it. Merry Christmas, sending love your way and wishes of health and happiness.
simples from the farmer's market
nudge their way onto Christmastime
menus....spinich and greyere, mounds of kale, pounds of potatoes
....goodness fresh pulled from the earth
slices through the glitter and cold,
warms hearts.
Somehow it's a comfort.
And Christina, I've stuffed a stocking for you
over at my place...if you've a moment, drop by and pick it up.
No worries if time won't permit...it will find you
as love always will:)
A beautiful week of peace to you,
Jen
