12-21 11 ~

//
i lit the candles early this morning
i spent time in stillness
prayer
and
silence
sipping my tea
i could hear my son sleeping from the other room
the sound of his breathing weaved itself in and out of my prayers
and that my friends just about burst my grateful heart
i am a lucky woman
//
we may not have everything we want in this tiny home
but we most certainly have all we need
palms clasped
//
i fell deeply in love with this via beth
yes in a million ways to all of it
//
{thank you for the love on my last post i was laughing too}
//
i'm going to give the house a good cleaning today
find my way back into those simple routines that i find comforting
vacuuming
cleaning the fridge
baking the cake for the most precious birthday of the year
//
my holiday post will be up after midnight for friday
pretty much my last post of the year
{gonna be taking some time off}
there will be a giveaway as well
stop in and join me for a cuppa cheer
//
you are loved

When we stop and think of all that we have been blessed with and how the simple things such as cleaning and preparing food can bring such joy and peace...we know that all is right in our world.

Merry Christmas my dear -- may you and your loved ones enjoy every moment and every morsel. ♥
