it was a painful experience i won't lie
so many girls getting frustrated
i even saw tears from some
i felt for them
it's an important time for these girls

my girl
she smiled the whole time
{zip me up mama}
`
my feet hurt
it was the 6th shop for us

while waiting outside the dressing room
i was hungry what can i say

Just love your girl and her whole approach to the dress - zip me up - to life. Acorn/oak.
Looks like a dress for dancing! Envious!
A beautiful post, and yes, a beautiful time for you and your girl. I did smile when I read you were distracted by the taquito stand while waiting.......it does get a bit like that. I've discovered that shopping with my young girls definitely requires patience and tasty sustenance, but it brings such joy. Love, love, love the dress and the photo of the dress. Heres to a good time. xx

Oh I remember the dress for the prom for my daughter. She wanted to design it and have me make it. Crazy, but we did a lavender number and she was happy. Oh I remember! Treasure every moment.

Beautiful dress and beautiful photo! Isn't it amazing how quickly our children grow up. Where ever does the time go? An age old question asked by all parents, I'm sure.
So happy for these new experiences for the two of you!
I am drooling just now at the thought of peanut salsa.
