i actually felt a coolness in the air yesterday

licorice tea before bed last night

a simple pot of homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight

hydrangeas for the vase

i noticed it's getting darker a bit sooner at night
autumn is near
and i don't mind one bit

i am home enjoying the last few days of my leave from work. going to enjoy just being lazy and enjoying the slow pace of the day.
not many signs of autumn over here; i do need it to come soon, though.
take all the time you want and need- sharing is wonderful but not always easy.

It definitely feels like autumn here today, with a coolness and a drizzle. The sort of day where you want to curl under a quilt with a good book, but then fall asleep.
