sunday and i don't mind one bit `

....
it's sunday
+
i really need it to be sunday
`
slow
`
it's been a full summer
im not used to that
there has been so many good times this summer
+
there was something that was just difficult and so very hard...
i keep hoping to find the words to tell you about our friend
soon come though
with patience and prayer
maybe the words will find me
`
i actually felt a coolness in the air yesterday
+
today
`
licorice tea before bed last night
`
a simple pot of homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight
+
hydrangeas for the vase
`
i noticed it's getting darker a bit sooner at night
autumn is near
and i don't mind one bit
`

Autumn is clearly in the air and on it's way. I trust that you will speak of whatever has been weighing on your heart when you are ready and not before. ♥

not many signs of autumn over here; i do need it to come soon, though.
take all the time you want and need- sharing is wonderful but not always easy.

What a beautiful capture, Christina! I've been thinking and feeling some of the same things recently.
P.S. so glad I can enjoy your hydrangeas, because the deer visited in the night a couple weeks ago and had mine for dinner!

aren't hydrangeas like a delicious
reward for surviving the heat of summer with a smile!
loving the way your words
lilt from your pen
and sending hope that the ones you need to ease the story from your soul
will find you soon.

It definitely feels like autumn here today, with a coolness and a drizzle. The sort of day where you want to curl under a quilt with a good book, but then fall asleep.
