sweet `

i took a bit of time this past weekend
to go thrift shopping
*
some sweet scores
if i don't say so myself
*
i have wanted a pair of these old chinese scissors for a while now
i think it is the beautiful swoopy shapes of the handles
i love em 
rust and all
*
my heart started beating faster 
as i saw the pyrex refrigerator dish
with cover
swoon!
*
then the old...
 and i mean old
beautiful
stack of gourmet magazines
love within each page
yes indeed
*
this little shopping trip was just what i needed since... 
the family is taking turns
going through the cold i had
i am better
thank you for the b-day wishes

the get well wishes 
my friends

i have three deadlines to meet by this weekend
and damn if i will complain
it's photography work
and 
that's what i have wished for
; )
i know i haven't been round to comment much
but i see the beauty you are sharing
the light you are shining

oh happy birthday sorry i missed it, we have had the same thing here, colds bronchitis and eyes with allergies ouch ouch. recovering now. how wonderful to have deadlines, lucky you go for it and enjoy

Sweet finds...I love those scissors. They remind me of a pair I had when I was around 10 or 11. They came with a mini gardening set...mini tools, a glass spritzer...every now and then I wish I still had those things. They were very cool...and a gift from my grandmother. xoxo

I love those pyrex refridgerator dishes. I have several myself. I use them all the time. They are a great size and so fun to find. Love the scissors too. Now, I want a pair.
