Christina, I just returned from Reverie and I am still overwhelmed with emotion...such beautiful dreams and wishes...such a beautiful person you are!

Asparagus season is the best as far as I am concerned...why did I never plant some many years ago??? I wonder this each and every spring:)

I just started Jonathan Franzen's book "Freedom" and so far I am reading slow because I love it so much:)

Like the commenter above, I couldn't stop thinking of the words you placed at Reverie. Just breathless. Before bed last night I started to pick up my reading material, I set it down and opened my computer to go read your words again.

These biscuits look so good along side Sofia's pretty photo.
XOXO

I also loved Snow Flower and the Secret Fan! She has a book that has come out recently that I'd love to get my hands on.

Thank you for the lovely things you post! They always make me so happy.

Your soulful post yesterday struck a chord. I've read Lisa See's book, Peony in Love and lost my self in the artistry of her writing. I'm currently reading Like Water for Chocoalte and wondering how I missed it the first time around.

Have a joyful day!

I love that David Matthews song . . . it reminds me of a very happy and intense time in my life. (I was living in Trinidad.)
Thanks for the dinner idea! I have some asparagus that needs to be eaten, and that sounds blissfully easy.

I haven't read See's book. I've been reading lots and lots of children's books lately. I'm going to (re)read The Little Princess tonight. :)

Oh I have read that book, it is a good one. I would love some good asparagus, if only I had taste buds. So miss you and so happy to be visiting here this morning.
