within me
"just between us" is a journal, that mother and daughter can share. it really is sweet. and i so enjoy, each time it shows up on my nightstand, with a paged filled in, by my girl. i think this is one journal i will cherish, writing in. ; )
holy week is underway. it's a quiet time for us, a bit of reflection- the days leading us into good friday and then, easter sunday. i can't help but think of the faith, i am blessed to carry within me, as i walk this path.
today is
getting one more meal, out of the fridge and the cabinets, to stay on track for our grocery budget. ...cream scones with dried currents, and a vegetable soup, with great northern beans.
all praise to~ The Most High
you are loved~

yes...holy week...and i rest with you in the blessing of this sacred time, and look forward to easter joy. -xok.
Thanks for the reminder. After Sunday's service Passion week was at the forefront of my mind, but how quickly it's pushed out by daily duties. This week is what it's all about. Praise His Name.
Oh, thank you for mentioning the journal! I love the idea of you and your daughter creating beauty together; it inspires me to do the same with my girl!
Stillness and peace to you this week.
That is wonderful you and your daughter are doing this journal together. Both of you will cherish the memories.
I could totally see Darling Daughter and I doing this kind of a journal. Happy Easter to you Christina and all your loved ones
I'd like a copy of your budget, please. Seems to me you know how to eat much better than I do, and I'm on a grocery budget too! lol
You always make the best comfort food. And the journal is a lovely thing you can do together, it will be your shared treasure in years to come. xoxo
Holy week is a blessing isn't it! I am so grateful to share a bit of it with you.
I think your shared journal is amazing. That your teenage daughter wants to do this with you is a t estimate to a great relationship. God is good.
(Great northern beans are my favorite!)
Have a blessed Holy Week.
Hello Christina
Have a very Blessed Holy Week and Happy Easter to you and your family.
What a wonderful journal! I need to get this. Enjoy this week and the beautiful time to reflect. xo
Wow, I love that journal, it sounds wonderful!! Happy Easter week to you, lovely friend! xxoo :)
That journal sounds wonderful!
when the boys were younger, during the summer months...I'd leave them notes of what to do during the course of a day...sort of a to-do list before I got home. Soon, we would start putting other little notes in it...they would scribble little things on the pages to each other or too me...I did keep those notebooks but they are so messy! some pages even have food stains on it ( I would leave it in the middle of the kitchen table) but this sounds better!
muah!
Oh how I would have loved to have a journal like this when Holly was young at heart. Cherish? OoooYes! Worth more than any amount of money!
Blessings to you this week as you reflect and have quiet times.
what a beautiful sharing
