What a lovely photo. Especially today when we are expecting another winter storm. Ugh
Have a blessed Sunday.
On Friday Margie told me to buy tulips n e way home from work. I didn't. Our grocery had sad valentine leftovers. Yesterday I was in Toronto and here were gorgeous tulips at the greengrocer but they wouldn't have survived the day in the car, it was too cold. Then I come here and discover that you have tulips. I think I shall buy some today.

Tulips are my favourite. Had white ones at my wedding.

And thou two loaves of bread are left
Sell one, and with thy dole
Buy hyacinths to feed thy soul"

Love the quote, it's so so true!! Am off to buy myself some friendly daisies!!:) xxoo :)
what beautiful flowers and the quote very fitting. thanks for sharing them both. hope your weekend was filled with happiness. have a great night.
your tulips do feed my soul. It is so hard to pass them by in the market, they do call to our hearts. Sometimes if I am a bit broke and can't take some home I just stop and smell them and admire right in the market. That is free, but bringing them home is even better.
Thanks for sharing them with us! They're gorgeous! An dI love the quote.
Flowers sould alwas be on the grocery list!
Tulips are so happy this time of year-- A promise of Spring being just around the corner. I have a bouquet of white ones :-)
Have a great week, xo jj
I liked how you cropped this. And the depth of field is nice. We have a snow day here in Michigan. Did the latest snow hit MIlwaukee as well?
I have a loooong habit of buying the first bundle of tulips I spot. Then, I know spring is really on her way.
your tulips keep calling me back... insistent spring. thank you for the feeding of my soul... again. -xok.
