pretty winter

my daughter, having fun in the snow, with my new toy. my daughter inspires me... like tulips and graffiti, and the sea side. i could photograph this kid, all day. she is a sweet sport and convinces me, winter can be fun + pretty. she steps in front on the camera, with chipped fingernail polish, and the patience of job. ; ) thanks sweetie, for standing in the cold and allowing me, to snap away.

i adore film cameras. i really don't believe there is any replacing, the classic + honest, beauty, film can bring, to our photographs.

today is ~
saving my pennies for this film class~ + sign up for a chance at the giveaway. love love!
a continuous simmering tea pot on the back of the stove
arguing kids
pretty fingerless glove thingys
a dog who is now known as~ the "muffin thief"
maps sprawled all over the table
potato and onion hash... pass the ketchup, please.

enjoy your days~
; )

Great photo, even with the chippy nails. I was just telling my husband that he should play with his film camera. Oh, I have a cat that is also a muffin thief. Must hide them up on top the refrigerator. Simmering teapot, you know I love that. Can I come and sit with you, have a cup of tea and a rescued muffin?

i love film so much....but the cost of the film and developing adds up so quickly.....so not only do you have the class cost, you have those costs, too.....

it makes me sad :(

i hope you get to take the class....i can only imagine the beauty you'd share with us....

beth* that's so true, the cost can add up. i am willing to skip a few coffees and teas out, to see what i stumble upon. xoxo

I adore this photo! I love the blues of the sweater complimenting the blues of the fingerless gloves. The fingerless gloves are so cute. You have to let me in on the secret of where she got them. Love it!

Lovely. Chipped nail polish maps the character of the person wearing it. Love the fingerless glove thingies.

Today, for me, was, getting out to do my errands before the snow began to fly; and then a room sprawling with acrylic paints, fancy paper and paint brushes; and finally, paint and sticky mod podge on the tips of my fingers.

xx

It's always so nice to read about you and the love you have for your family, Christina. Sounds like you have nurtured a close relationship with both your children.

And thank you for the links. I'm going to revisit them in the next couple of day, when life slows down a bit.

The muffin thief...awww...well, can you blame the pup?
