soup is just logical. it's snowing again and a snowy day= soup.
i had shrimp in the fridge last night and a carton of mushrooms. i added shallots, butter and cajun spices. +crusty bread. a meal for a king, i tell ya. well, it did this fam, good.
i really would love to have a good, peanut butter cookie recipe. do you have one? i love the chewy ones, that call for smooth peanut butter. just haven't found one, that does the trick.
my name is christina, and i am addicted to vintage pyrex.
seems like january has sapped my mojo. i want to give something my all... anything my all. i want to dive in head first, and forget the kick in the ass january is giving me. i am again, taking chinese. i will give my homework, my all. my grandparents would be proud, to see me in this class. oh, i appear to be barely hanging on in this class, but i feel so at home. ; )
have a good week.
respect~

23 ladlefuls of love:
Soup! I need to make some soup soon. I wish it would snow around here so it felt more like winter and less like a taking a shower in a wind tunnel. Sigh. Maybe soup would help. xoxo
Oh wow - it's so great you're taking that class. You're wonderful! It has surprised me how hard January has been pushing me around. Not what I had in mind. But, I'm moving forward, slower than expected, but still forward. That's okay too.

A hearty soup with shrimp and a crusty loaf of bread makes me heart sing. I can't imagine trying to learn Chinese...what an adventure! Wishing you much success, dear Christina.
Why is January the longest month ever? I am in La Crosse and I feel your pain. ;) I recently made the following peanut butter cookie recipe and my family said they tasted like homemade nutterbutters. So yummy! Sending you sunshine!

Taking a different language can be so hard to keep up. I took French about 2 years ago and I got so frustrated I ended up quitting. Now I get a word a day with sound for the pronunciation and then in a sentence. My ear is getting better at hearing it and I think I would like to try again. I feel bad that I only know one language and when traveling it is amazing in other countries how many people speak several languages.
Hello, I have just returned from our annual summer beach holiday and was catching up with posts at late bloomer buds. Love your blog. Charmaine from Melbourne Australia.
i keep all the usb cords for my mac in a vintage pyrex celery keeper. i love the little square ones, keeping my kosher salt close by. lately i am in love with vintage barware.
Your shrimp looks sooooo good!
I love that you are taking Chinese. You have so much gumption, my friend.
