years ago i had a gumdrop tree, made of some type of plastic. sadly it broke. i decided i could make one, that was just as lovely, as the one i used to have. a few branches from outside, minus the snow, and we were good to go. ; ) it's times like this, with the kids, that mean the most to me, during the season.
happy monday!
one love~

Oh my goodness...I've not seen a gumdrop in ages. What a charming decoration to make and you're so right. The best thing about the holidays are the little things we do with the children in our lives.
Hope you're snug and cozy during this winter blast.
We used to always make those too!! Yum!! xxoo :)
okay, how fabulous it that!!
I can't wait until all five of mine are together and creating and silly and making me grateful too.
but that is beautiful Christina! so pretty!! have a lovely day xoxo
I love this, now I just need some gumdrops. Love the photo with the wonderful colors. glad you are well, sending much love your way.
What a fun idea. I love all the colour.
can i come over and pick my favorite flavors off the tree ?
I think these ones are much prettier than the plastic ones.
What a wonderful idea! Happy Monday to you my friend! ps. love the cards! thank you!
That is so pretty...and the photo of it is equally lovely.
Oh Christina ~
I was just sitting her thinking how I could create a special little tree for my crumb (we are in the midst of a move, and i feel she needs some sort of prettiness to overshadow the 'changes') ~ a gumdrop tree is ideal!
BTW, everyone I've sent your holiday card to has commented on the incredible beauty!
Much love,
Melissa
Sooo YUMMY & festive, Christina! I love the natural twigs & the sweet. This season brings lots of times past to mind...I'm feeling very nostalgic these days. :o) ((HUGS))
I love how your soul captures the moment!
Under His shadow,
I love this photo! Very sweet & zen!
what a wonderful gumdrop tree. the season's certainly bring together family. happy Tuesday... hope all is well.
I ADORE this picture. You can't get gumdrops in England or I'd be buying some tomorrow. Colorful inspiration, once again.
I absolutely love this photo! :0
precious.
love this. it's the simple pops of color that just get me.
Happy times, good memories. My mother used to make these when I was little. She would get a branch from outside and make it. I used to help her. We haven't made one in several years. Think I should suggest we make one this year.
Hi Christina. My best friend bought me a copy of Artful Blogging for Hanukkah this year as I have just started my own blog! I am very inspired by your beautiful photography and just wanted to say a friendly hello. Thanks for sharing your life with all of us. It makes it feel like a very friendly community.
Peace to you and your family and a happy and healthy new year!!
