well, i guess i don't mind that i can't load any photos, i really wanted to stop in and wish you a happy new year. ; )
it's been very quiet and regular here. no ups, no downs, just normal. ; )
knitting projects have been finished, more started. i am in love. you should have seen me, walking in craft store, to buy more yarn. love love
i have missed you.

... oh, was a break needed. it's good to be lazy + just enjoy the faces, you love.
mexican food has been in rotation here... not always a good thing, that i can make a darn good combo platter. sad sad. ; ) i made my own spanish rice the other day... praise sofrito, just praise it. let me back up... the man who owns the bodega is so kind to us- on christmas eve, my husband drove him home, so he could be with his family quicker... he gave hubby a 20 pound bag of rice (for our fam) as a thank you... ainna some TING? he sure did. how kind. i bought a container, and sealed it up good. it will take us a good time, to get through that rice. ; ) such a kind gesture.
how are you? what's been going on? was your holiday good?
i certainly hope santa was good to you. santa claus brought my son a video camera... hope mr. claus is back to the north pole, i need to call him, and speak to him bout dis camera here. hello? come again? say you, the brother with the white beard, and suspenders. this camera here, for de boy... wrong on so many levels. lmao!! it's all good. ; )
ya know, i just wanted to stop in and say hello, and here i have written you a novel.
i send you love, my friends.
be safe
sing loud at midnight
give the car keys to the key master
i will think of you with my warm cider tonight as the ball drops

hey lovely! I haven't encountered that with my images... do you usually upload big images??
Mexican food sounds brilliant. I went for drinks this afternoon and now am going to lie low this evening - make a few cocktails, melt some brie with fig jam. Yum!
Will be thinking of you and sending you a big New Year hug! xx
There is a limit on the amount of images you can store on google/blogger before you have to pay for extra storage. The link for more storage space is here: https://www.google.com/accounts/PurchaseStorage?hl=en_US I think it's actually fairly affordable.
Wishing you a wonderful New Year's even and day.
Love and hugs to you
Happy New year

I love when you talk in that beautiful Jamaican "accent"....(what accent? right?) I may have to incorporate, "ainna some TING?" into my vocabulary...my beautiful friend at church, who is from Jamaica, will find me amusing I'm sure. :)
Happy New Year to you sweet one...2011 is going to be "some TING", I just know it!!

It happened to me. I purchased more space from Google for $5. It takes 24 hours to get the space added. I could not still load photos, then discovered I had to sign into Picassa (bloggers picture centre)again, and this resets it. It took me 5 days and tons of google help (not helpful) before I figured out the 2nd step.
Wishing you& yours all the best in 2011, my friend-–LOVE & LIGHT, PEACE & JOY to you all year! :o) ((HUGS))
So happy that you enjoyed a much needed break, we all need those, especially during holiday time.
Happy New Year Christina!
i love you, divine miss christina m!

happy new year sweetie...have a fabulous weekend.
My son's godmother (and my best friend) has bought him a camera. We haven't got together yet, but I suspect I'll be using it a lot, too ;)
Have a blessed New Year, Christina!

happy 2011 :)

Yes, I have heard about the photo thing on blogspot and have hoped they wouldn't do that to me. The blog this happened to just started a new blog to get around it. She even paid a fee and still had problems with them. Good luck with this and let us know if you find a better solution.
Mexican food is always loved in this family. Lovely gift of rice.
Santa was generous. Your son must have been so good this past year. ;-)
It was a good Christmas. I took my gift certificate from a local kitchen store and did a bit of shopping yesterday. Some new pots and pans were needed along with a salad shooter. Now I am happy.
Happy New Year dear friend!
Ah friend. Here I am stopping by to wish you prosperity and continued good health and happiness. 2011 is going to be a year of wonderment. I am pondering a spicy Mexican flavored black bean soup for dinner. I think you've sold me on the idea! Cheers xoxo
Hi Christina,
My daughter recently guided me to your lovely blog, and so glad she did! Your warmth, humour, and beautiful photography are so inspiring. Visiting your blog is like spending a few moments in the company of a cosy friend.
Happy & Blessed New Year to you & yours!

Christina, but your novel reads so good!!! :-) I'm happy you had a wonderful time during the Holidays. It was the same here, lots of fun, love and joy :-) Happy New Year my dear friend!!!
Just had to pop over and
wallow in the goodness
and shout out a shiny new year
to you and your tribe.
Have enjoyed soaking

you've built.
Always leave grinning

Christina!!! I am so happy you stopped in for a quick post ... I have missed your posts ... always so refreshing and beautiful. I have never heard of the whole google picture thing ... now I am worried as I always load tons of photos. Keep me updated. I made homemade tamales with my grandma this holiday, stuffed bell peppers, Spanish rice, beans and pozole. Oh it was blissful. Sending you much love and hugs! Happy New Year!!!!! XO!
Christina I hope you have a wonderful new year! You are so special and deserve any blessings that come your way. Things are slow and normal around here too, and I am very thankful. :)
