"i would like to achieve a state of inner spiritual grace from which i could function and give as i was meant to in the eye of God. Vague as this definition may be, i believe most people are aware of periods in their lives when they seem to be "in grace" and other periods when they feel "out of grace," even though they may use different words to describe this state."
from the book, "gift from the sea"  anne morrow lindbergh

i adore the book "gift from the sea" it seems no matter how displaced i get from myself, or from the path i have chosen, these pages of the most beautiful words, bring me back to a home. a kind of home, that welcomes me with open arms. for whatever it's worth, i choose grace ; )

how have you been, my friends? i have often thought of you.

i have been on go, for the last two weeks. today i will be more than happy to make breakfast for my family, and pass a loaf of bread, around the table. i am grateful in every way for this moment... this simple moment, of now. i dig that. : )

praise to The Most High.

happy weekend, my friends.

Love the book, too. I just did a post today about an artist I learned of during the same class I was required to read her book. It was so good...moving.

Praise to God, indeed. xox

this quote brought me tears...a treasured family friend gave me that book when i got married. i read it then. this quote spoke to my heart and whispered it was time to read it again - nearly 11 yrs and a whole other woman (i've become) later. this post spoke to a very tender place today. thank you, friend.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend too. It has been a rough week, I feel like today I'm finally getting a handle on it. Gift of the Sea is a beautiful book. It's one I return to again and again.

The egg photo is simply beautiful. I've given "Gift from the Sea" as gifts 3 times. It's beautiful too, just as you are. Blessings Christina.

Praise be to simple moments and that you notice them and share. This week has been a little bumpy for me, but I am looking forward to a weekend that will be full of "grace". My copy of "gift from the sea" is so worn out, I need to buy a new copy. I love that book. One year I chose "grace" as my word for the year. I certainly had to learn to accept "grace" from others, something I realized I wasn't very good at.

Have a "grace" filled weekend.
