blackberry, lavender jam has been served daily on my old farm table, thanks to this sweet new friend. honestly, this jam is so beautiful, it takes my palate, to lavender fields and afternoon picnics, on favorite blankets. a swap brought us together... each gift is cherished. especially the handwritten letter. sheer love. and beatrix potter? how could you have known my love, for her. ; )

A lovely gift of jam from a friend is always delightful. I like Beatrix Potter to. I read a biography of her. I have some of her stories in french, too that I got from a thrift store.
What a beautiful, sweet gift - and photographed beautifully as well. Homemade jam is such a good gift, especially when the ingredients are local to the area where it was made.

i have never put one of those candies in my mouth. ever. even as a child the colour of them made me fearful of the taste. lol.
