I love Beatrix Potter! Have you seen the movie with Renee Zellwegger? It is so very well done!

And your friend's blog looks lovely - I've added her to my reader.

Have a happy weekend!

Hello my sweet friend--I saw your beautiful orange work over on the photography blog. So lovely to look at, and your story about your mom below--I so relate to, as you know. It's the birthday of my dad today and so I'm taking things slow, just taking it all in. So nice to stop by your soothing blog just now. I miss you and hope we will talk soon!

xoxo Mary Jo

A lovely gift of jam from a friend is always delightful. I like Beatrix Potter to. I read a biography of her. I have some of her stories in french, too that I got from a thrift store.

What a beautiful, sweet gift - and photographed beautifully as well. Homemade jam is such a good gift, especially when the ingredients are local to the area where it was made.

Have a Happy Halloween weekend, too, Christina.
