another sweet find from the antique store. had to have this coffee creamer thingy. : ) goodness, i remember my grandmother drinking sanka coffee. she would laugh, if she could see me paying the crazy prices i do, for lattes+ other shameful java fixes. lol

the leaves are blowing and a storm is brewing. a perfect day to bake, cranberry orange bread.

yes orange!

i am just thrilled to have my orange workchosen as a guest on this fab blog. thrilled i tell ya!

Words to Shoot by is one of the sites I go to for inspiration...so I am not surprised to find you there at all:)!! Love all three shots you have featured there...and this one too:) Isn't Salada tea the tea that used to have a fortune on each teabag tag?

Ah Sanka, I remember that being in my house while I was growing up. We've already had some excitement here, but have battened down the hatches. Stay safe! :)

Lov'n the creamer. Now I am off to visit the orange work. I went shopping for the Artful Blogger yesterday, but now I know it doesn't come out until Nov. 1st.

Sanka. What a great name and logo and a great use of orange!

My Mom drank Sanka, too. Seeing this was a very happy memory!

Some of the most special things to us are because they take us back to another time and place in memory. Your Sanka creamer will always carry those memories now along with cream for your coffee!

Congratulations! Beautiful photos on Words To Shoot By! Your sanka photo and thoughts of your grandma makes me think of my mom and her friends getting together over this coffee when I was a little girl. Treasured memories.

That is a sweet creamer, Christina... Oh, I remember Sanka on the shelves at the grocery store when I was a child. I always wondered why it was called Sanka...LOL... Congrats on your wonderful feature. :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))

What a beautiful photo and story, Christina!

Ah, Sanka - I remember that. Very cool that you found it and it brought up a wonderful memory for you. I feel that way about instant Tasters Choice - my mom doesn't drink coffee but always had it available for when guests wanted a cup. Happy Wednesday my friend!

P.S. I thought of you this weekend as I passed so many beautiful churches - you and your lens would have had a beautiful field day! xxoo :)
