ice cream + kindness

happy wednesday!
i really wanted to thank you...
for all the book suggestions
the dill recipe ideas
canning hints
your comments
the kindness... kindness is the coolest. i may not get around to all of the comments, all the time. but i try.  i am slow as a jar of molasses in winter time on a frozen window sill scattered sometimes, but i do make my way, eventually. ; ) if i missed your simple post on 7/16~ please email me ; ) i do believe i made it to each of you sweeties, though. i am grateful for the time you spend here. xo

now, who wants ice cream?? ; )
i bought these little ice cream cups, at world market. aren't they adorable? they even come with covers, and those wooded scoopy things. the kids loved them. : )

have a lovely week, my friends.

Strawberry ice cream (with chunks of strawberries in it) is most definitely the bomb...

I made some café sua da ice cream earlier this week. It's Vietnamese ice coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Yum. I used a can of sweetened condensed milk and 24 ounces of espresso (decaf). It's all gone now.

I am loving those little ice cream cups and the ice cream looks so very inviting. Have a lovely week also. Me, I am being slightly lazy this week. Why, I don't know, it is so unusual for me.

your ice cream made me remember i wanted a popsicle earlier this evening. so, i promptly got up and got me a strawberry flavored one. it was delicious. thanks for reminding me.

your butterfly pics below are gorgeous. i wonder where all the butterflies have gone too. there doesn't seem to be many around here anymore. glad you enjoyed your book. and lastly, happy birthday to your friend.

have a great night.

The little cups with the wooden spoonlets are adorable, but I was so mesmerized by the strawberry ice cream that I couldn't stop licking my lips. I guess I'm always too much in a hurry to eat my ice cream to ever capture delicious shots.

Have a wonderful day!

Adorable cups! Your photos of the ice cream are just scrumptious, I can taste it!

(Cannot post today from Wordpress and I see on the web that it is a universal problem.)

Your ice cream looks very tempting. And the cups are great. I'm going to have to stop by World Market and pick some up. They make ice cream all the more fun.

Hope your week is going well.
