steps to find beauty on a sunday

i took steps to find beauty this morning. i didn't want to run errands, then find myself asking, where the weekend went, so fast.
coffee grinding
eggs frying
sweet pinapple
sticky, jam fingerprints, on the old farm table.
reading slowly, about roses in this beautiful book i received, for mother's day.
listening to this, because if that's not sunday afternoon music, i don't know what is. swoon!
a simple 3 cheese tortellini soup, and french bread, will make the perfect dinner. done!
i look forward to visiting you, at your lovely places. deep sigh for beauty + this blog thingy.
what's that you say... a nap? yes, that sounds like sheer poetry to me, on this sunday afternoon. ; )
one love~

I love your photo as usual...so perfect. Your Sunday dinner sounds delicious.
I haven't had pineapple in awhile, you've inspired me to go buy one tomorrow. I like fresh, cubed and then served with a chunk of old cheddar. Such a delicious treat!!!
Hope you are well...xoxo!

Sounds like a perfect day.

Coincidentally, I made a tortellini salad with whatever was on hand: diced tomatoes, celery, black olives, tuna, spices, and cucumber yogurt to hold it all together.

It was tortellini sort of day-- enjoying the simple pleasures of home.

I love quiet Sunday afternoons. And I love the picture with the mug(?) where I can see some Greek letters. I think it says 'mother' in Greek.?
