spring evenings
hi there. we've had the most beautiful, spring evenings here, this weekend.
warm
warm
salads and sandwiches
iced tea, with mint + lemon
we went treasure hunting, this weekend. when i arrived at a local goodwill store, i was in heaven. i came out, with 8 bags of goodies. i know, right. : )
i really believe in showing support, to goodwill stores + i have such fun, in there. : ) i gathered nearly everything, on my wish list. swoon!
i found this lovely, old, blue jar. it even has a lid, and rusty handles and lid clamp. it's making the sweetest, candle holder, for outdoor meals. sigh.
i went to see this movie- i really, really liked it. she, has full, beautiful curves, that i never get enough of seeing on screen. and he, is just lovely... love dat man. lol
how is your sunday going? i hope it has been filled, with poetry.
slow
slow
i will photograph more of my used goodies, and place them here, as i blog this week.
one love~

34 ladlefuls of love:
Isn't Spring the best? And warm evenings are just the cherry on top of the seasonal bliss!
Wishing you a wonderful week...
that blue jar is so pretty.... you have embodied it with new life and purpose.
I can't wait to see you other finds : )
The blue jar is lovely! Like yourself, I also support good will stores and often find some special treasures there.
Looking forward to seeing your other finds!:)
Oh I want to see Just Wright too! Love both of them. Goodwill stores have such terrific finds. So affordable and the promise of hidden treasures.
Today I went to a graduation. I had forgotten how inspiring they can be. Have a great week! : )
ohhh, sounds like the most wonderful evenings you are having.
our trees are losing their beautiful orange & red leaves & I see rain out the window.
I love charity stores, I hardly buy anything new anymore & avoid department stores.
I feel warm & caring when i can do just a little bit for the environment & for those in need.
happy week my sweet friend with beautiful candlelit evenings
♥
I love when curves are celebrated. I feel my sexiest when I have curves.
i so can not wait to see more of your treasures... love your old blue jar...
'swoon'... xxo, kim
swoon, blue jars...candles...how lovely***
i am looking forward to see what *8* bags hold! and isn't spring the best...i am not wanting summer and heat to descend upon me...
***from experience, i have discovered that sometimes these old glass pieces cannot take the heat of candlelight so beware they break and their bottoms fall off...i usually put mine on a plate, just in case... & ~~enjoy enjoy enjoy~~
8 bags! I can't wait to see what treasures you picked up. We are having rainy, misty, humid evenings and the cicadas are singing summer in and singing us to sleep.
♥namaste♥
our weather is sticky now, isn't it ?
but i'm not complaining....i've always done sticky quite well....
and i love my goodwill too !
i can't wait to see your goodies :)
Oh I do love Goodwill and can spend hours looking through all the treasures. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
I have a whole bunch of aqua Mason jars filled with staples, such as sugar and pasta, in my kitchen. And iced tea with mint! Sigh. Also want to see that movie, but I really hate the way American movie trailers practically give away the plot these days. Have been traveling; trying to catch up w/ blogs. Hope all is well w/ you and yours. Any news about your travel plans? xoxox
Greetings Christina...Love the blue canning jar photos. I found some small clear jars that will soon be filled with strawberry jam...just as soon as local strawberries are available. Aren't vintage, Goodwill, and second hand shops marvelous?
I visited my mom last week, and she had just purchased a laptop (!) from Goodwill. Oh, the treasures to be found there.
Love the Queen and Common. So, so beautiful - both of them.
I love all you share
Blessings
very pretty. i hope you don't mind that i mentioned your blog in a post this morning...with a link (if i did it right!) wishing you more lovely spring evenings.

love your blue jar, and the rusty parts i am sure make it that much more of a treasure. love lazy sundays but my yard always seems to call me and i can't get away with being too lazy. i need dirt under my nails!!!
Love spring nights like this! I was walking the dog last night and thought, this has the spring night smell...which I smelled again when looking at our photos.
Beautiful!
I love treasure hunting too! I found a fabulous door knocker at "Habitat for Humanity Store" last week. I just might have to post a pic!
I'm going to have to go see that movie...I hadn't even heard of it! Yikes, I must be out of it. Your weekend sounds like it was wonderful. Enjoy your Monday!
I have a similar blue glass treasure holding my toothbrush. Movie looks good. She's an impressive woman.
I love, love the pictures Christina! And your new banner (sorry if it is there for a while but as I was away I only did notice it today ...) we had the most blissful beautiful family summer like weekend :-) ... hugs!
Love your new candle holder. I have some of those to.
The movie looks like lots of fun.
Wish'n for spring evenings and iced tea.
Love being led into your words with such lovely lovely images. What feelings they evoke.
And Goodwill. There is one right across the street - I buy grape sodas and love to treasure hunt. It's wonderful!

Your new blue jar has already earned its keep by being so beautifully photographed...Oh I love Goodwill...even if I am at the age where I'm looking more for others than for myself...Can't wait to see what else is in your bags:)
A lovely spring evening indeed.
Love that blue jar.
Good for you and your wonderful finds. It is the best!

Love your perspective. I saw Avatar and was pleasantly surprised.
love those jar pics. i've not seen those in a long while. the only place i know i could see them is in country stores that i get little chance of going into lately.
that movie looks great.i must put it on my list of movies to watch.
as for my Sunday, i went hiking all day with my daughter at a wildlife preserve. great fun~
have a wonderful day.
I just love finding stuff and the goodwill store.
Your spring weekend sound lovely. Glad to see you making the most of what you have.
What a lovely weekend and I'm loving the blue canning jar--I've been looking for some myself. They are just heavenly!
p.s. I have been dying to see that movie. Glad you gave it the thumbs up, I'm going to have to see it now for sure!
xoxo Mary Jo
lovely. ;)
charity shops rock...
and so do you.
I love that you found things that you will love. I can just see you and your family outside in the evening with a candle burning in that jar. It reminds me of the jars I used to put lightning bugs in as a child. Stirred up some memories there.
Guess what??!?!?! After visiting you and telling you about my own typewriter lust, I went to a cool flea market with my mother-in-law. Guess what I brought home?? Yup. A Royal typewriter from about the 30s I'm guessing. Oh, I am giddy! I just had to tell you.
