eyes closed hoping to see it all

as cold as it was last night, i slept with my window open last night.
and i had dreams... vivid dreams. vivid at the time, not so vivid now.

it took these pink, powdery flowers, i saw waiting for me in a bruised bin,
to bring back the memory of my dreams.

i tend to believe breezes, through opened windows, carry dream dust .
if this dust had a color, i think it might be a glittery, sun drenched, pink.

this color mixed with the night air must be beautiful. i bet it is.

i was in a hurry this morning, and in my rush, i know i missed a smiling face, or a kind word, or the toll of church bells.

where can i go from here?

maybe i can write the world a love letter or invite life to find it's way through my lens... maybe forgive myself for a few things, forgive others while im at it.

life,
you have a beautiful hold on me today.

~eyes closed, i continue the train ride home, hoping to see "it" all.

happy sweet friday, my friends.

one love~

You can go everywhere from here, dear Christina. :)

That was a beautiful lift for my Friday. Sweet, forgiving spirit, a vision without sight, dreams, and those photos are Gorgeous with a capital G, absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend to all readers to take the time to enlarge number two. Wow.

I get no greater joy in life, than to see you close your eyes and shoot that camera of yours.

I didn't teach you that. I am proud to tell everyone that.

Yes, number 2 here is perfection. All of them really.

Taking flowers from the "bruised bin" and capturing their spirit here is such a gift - a gift that opens my eyes, brings me back to the beauty of it all. Thank you, friend!

Yes, through the lens we see much more. Bruised, but beautiful and dream dust too! Lovely!

I always sleep with my window open. I love being cozy under my duvet but feeling cold air next to my face.

I think I need to get me some flowers this weekend too. This are too beautiful. As are you.

Have a great weekend, sweet Christina!

sleeping with the windows open - that's when my sleep is the deepest, when I feel the most rested. Then I wake to the sounds of the doves outside my window, and the frogs in the pool... sweet.

Oh, I have missed you, my friend. I've been slacking in my bloggish neighborliness as school has been more than hectic. Now that I'm back in the swing again, I wanted to stop in and say hello. Happy spring!
