a cup of tea and an interview with erin

was your thursday good? i worked, but i am now winding down and managing to get some reading in.
happy
happy
a cup of tea sits beside me, on this cool night.
i am over the moon that erin, from one girl + one camera, posted an interview with me. oh, those questions, seeped deep into my heart. sigh.
erin's blog is my comfort zone. i wrap myself in her photographs, and allow her words to warm me.  it would mean the world to me, if you stopped over and said hello.
peace, my friends.

I love that I got to learn more about you through this interview. I love your connection to Gordon Parks--he's brilliant. And your books are my books, too. They let me see worlds I didn't know and changed me. Your story of near death is moving, and, of course, you were supposed to be here to touch us with your words and images and give out all those hugs. Of course.

Oh, I enjoyed reading your interview with Erin, Christina. She asks thought-provoking, soul-searching questions, doesn't she? And you...well, you really are a beautiful soul. And I didn't know you are a chef! Well, of course you are, now thinking about it. Thank you for sharing more of yourself with us, Christina.

OMG!! I stumbled upon something just like this while hiking with my daughter in Watkins Glen State Park last fall. Someone created the peace symbol alongside a hiking trail with maple leaves. How beautiful!
