just being

hey there. how have you been? it seems as though, i'm welcoming the stillness, that has found me. my body says rest, and i listen with, compassionate ears. i am good. so very good.
i am enjoying the beauty of~ just being. smiling at how tears form in her eyes, when she watches a sad movie, or how he waves to the neighbors with one hand, and drags the trash to the can, with the other. life in slow, slow motion.
not too many words today... i believe i make a much better blog reader, than writer, today. wink! so i shall happily head your way, to catch up with your beautiful, thoughts. : ) big smiles!
one love~

Winter is a time of stillness, isn't it? We turn inward, to the kitchen, to the fireplace, to the good book...

Enjoy your day, dear Christina! :)

as the snow lays silent on the ground here, movement is still busy -- such a contrast. this is why i look forward to reading your smooth, soulful words, it's like yoga for the mind.

My body and my mind want to be still...but I'm like a jumping bean this last week...I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not!! :)

how I would love to be able to listen to my body, too and just rest! i'm trying to be content with moments like the one in your picture - i've got the february issue of a cooking magazine that's full of heart-shaped delights and my crochet project nearby.
i'm in the reading rather than writing phase, too.
