since you brought the poetry

You brought poetry~
you made the simple things sheer poetry...
violins
happy tears
stillness
and
moon dances

You assured my heart, there is more good than bad in the world.
You wrote me beautiful handwritten letters on your blogs, and left kind comments.
i lay in my bed at night
under the same sky as you
somehow closer now
sharing our journeys
our world

Chocolate! Oh, you all made me smile with the chocolate on your lists, and family time, and Haiti.
yes haiti...
i rub my palms together and shake my head
closing my eyes tightly
hearing the magic of haitian kreyol leaving tongues
and for a moment i see the blue caribbean sea that connects us
connecting us all
only my child's voice shakes me from my thought
i have faith you will shine once again
love will heal

You will never know how much coming together, for the simple things, means to me.
The friendships~ isn't that what blogging is about; visiting, making friends, sharing words... ah, the friendships. that thought warms me, deeply.

I thought since you brought the poetry, I would bring the tulips and chocolate gelato.
So, hold up your spoons ( chocolate gelato time) and wave goodbye to January. Our love outweighed the toughness, that January had placed on our paths.
Deep sigh for the beauty, you handed the simple things.
Happy tears.
Please join me in February. It's the month of love... and you know how much, I love sending love your way.
Thank you
thank you
one love~

Christina my dear, finally my eyes decided to give me a break and I could focus long enough to read the wonders behind these posts of yours again.

If I could have participated in your simple dance, I would have written that visiting here is one of the most rewarding and simple pleasures of my days. Yes indeed, thank goodness there is more beauty than ugliness, more goodness than hatred, more help in times of need, more love than war.

Still, we have a long way to go to understand that simple is the gift of the Goddess to revere in our hearts and to share with others.
Remember a blade of grass, my nanny used to say. No one can create one without a seed. Humbled by the thought it has taken me years to finally understand the beauty of simple. The power of simple. The love of simple.

Hugs from here and thank you for coming to visit when I was so ill.
