8am

this morning i placed a handful of flowers, in an old canning jar. in a messy fashion, i might add.
there was sunshine for a moment, then it was gone. i'd like to believe, the sun came out to join me for coffee, and left to go visit other bloggers, who are dealing with much rain ; )
and thank you, for all the kind and encouraging words, on the post below.
how was your weekend?
one love~

i read your little about blurb -- i liked the term culinary goddess (domestic goddess is another i like), then i read further, and i was "what do you mean not the goddess part?" you sure look like a goddess to me...

I'm taking heart from your post today Christina. I'm having a hard day and the sun was out for a brief period while I was out -- so I like to think that it came to give me comfort. ♥

We have a drenching rain here but some sunshine arrived in the mail a few moments ago...from a certain photographer who likes to photograph roses. These roses will bring much sunshine to all who see them. Nice work, Christine!

you had sun this morning ? and then sent it on ?
well, cripes, it totally missed me and one of your closet blogging gals...all it had to do was follow the highway about an hour or so and it could have been here easily and I would have even let stay for a cup of tea....darn sun !

the grey is finally....just today...starting to grate on my nerves a bit....I need some brightness and I hope the weatherman is right for the rest of the week :)

Love the new picture of you, but I like them all, your beautiful inside and out. Not a bit of sun here today, but thanks for thinking of us, it is a long way here so hopefully tomorrow. your roses are beautiful, I like how you treat yourself to flowers, nothing like some to cheer us all up. Take care.

The sunshine visited for a little while and then it was gone. I walked in the yard and saw the tulips and crocus beginning to appear and it made my heart sing.

The sun peeked out from behind gray clouds and at one point, large snowflakes danced in the rays...it was a lovely sight. The light captured behind the roses is stunning.

The sun didn't stop by to visit today, but I walked the long distance home in the rain tonight and I just let my face get wet and - maybe because I'm a little homesick - it felt so soft and nice, especially cause I could come home and have a hot shower and snuggle up in my robe.

I hope the sun comes back for you tomorrow and stays for longer this time.

We had sun today, all day, and skies blue as a dream. I should have known you had something to do with it. ;) Thank the heavens for the break in the rain. We're now seeing what parts of the garden we can repair after a mini-flood...

Did I mention that photo is gorgeous? Those roses look like joy made solid.

The roses are lovely. We have gotten a lot of rain. I love rainy days, too. Maybe the sun will come out to play tomorrow.
