Taking a moment to enjoy the mornings. Taking a moment to enjoy the evenings.
Slow, slowing it down.
writing thank you notes
visiting you
revisiting the dying art of cursive writing~ swoon
sipping life slowly
smiling at strangers
softly taking in the browns in my son and daughters eyes
allowing love to seep through my lens
have a wonderful week ; )

slow...so we can savor and enjoy and be part of instead of rushing through. You've made my heart rate decrease!

Those images are luscious, Christina. I've been having a rather 'spastic' sort of a week and feel I am losing the struggle to stay with the flow and not get my head thrown all over the place into 'work' and anxiety and rushing around ....
thanks dear.

Yes. Taking it slow sounds perfect. I bought Japanese Lantern flowers at the farmers market today, and then everywhere I walked afterwards, people stopped me on the street to ask me about them. Amazing what a bunch of flowers can do to slow people down--even total strangers! Magic.

Yes, yes. "Slow, slowing down." I want to be living this.

Cursive writing, a smile for strangers, a few words for us (me), the browns of your children's eyes...

Thank you, Christina.

Slow moments are so special... I used to get up an hour earlier to have time for myself in the morning. I've been lazy lately, and I think I need to get back to that, because I really notice it!
Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!

Gayle said...

Thank you! And a wonderful week to you, also! I love your taking in the browns of your childrens eyes.

I saw an article somewhere about whether cursive writing is dying. (I didn't get to read it yet - and now I can't remember where I saw it.) It is hard for me to write in cursive - my handwriting is a strange mix of cursive letters and regular letters all jumbled together like I'm writing in cursive and got confused. LOL. Clearly I need to write more.

Slow ... that's beautiful.

This is so sweet, Christina. I've not had an opportunity to take things slow lately, I seem to need more sleep so I end up rushing during the day. But thanks for the reminder that there is a very special wisdom in taking things slowly

The slowing down once in a while is so very important. I tend to do that too this time of year. I love that you are allowing love to seep through your lens and share with us.
