I devoured a peach, early in the morning. It was way, over ripe, and had begun to wrinkle. It was one of the sweetest peaches, I have ever had. Oh, yes it was. : )
The early mornings, bring me joy, the silence allows me to take a deep sigh, for beauty. ; )
I thought about the great customer service, this art supply store gave me, when I called them crazy and distraught, because my art journal arrived damaged. lol Oh, they know how to deal with artists/ eccentric personalities/melt downs, with the greatest of ease. I had a perfect journal replaced, at my door, the next day. Big up, Phyllis. Thank you. : ) Phyllis, understood that I was trying to create a journal, inspired by this lovely lady. Geninne's journals, make me want to hula~ hoop, lay in the grass, and recite poetry, all at the same time. Yes, that yummy! Swoon~ I swear as soon as I get the hang of it, I will find my own style. : )
I can't help but notice, all the lovliness, around the blog neighborhoods.
I have seen the simple act, of placing a stamp on an envelope, filled with caring words, change someone's day...
The sheer happiness, when a new found blog, brings a squeal of joy.
How a smiley face, along with a few words in a comment box, light our paths.
Women are coming together, building friendships and bonds, at ages we thought our lives were full enough, or a friendship in blog land, couldn't be real. Oh, but our hearts beg to differ... We shake our heads in amazement, that we can be touched by the words or realities of women, who share photos and stories, on their blogs. Women who accept us, in the warm nooks and crannies, of their open arms and lives. Women who realize, when the beauty of friendship knocks on our doors, we open our hands, palms gently extended and we embrace.
One love~
40 ladlefuls of love:
And we find women who make us weep with happiness, who overfill our hearts when we stop by for a daily visit, a little hello, howyadoin'.
Such a wonderful bit of wonderfullness today, Miss Christian. You have given me an idea. I will tell you later.
:)

So sweetly said.
I would say, that in some profound way, I actually share more of my secret heart on my blog than I ever do in real-life conversations.

Christina, you are one of those women with which you speak. Every time I visit your blog, I feel the exact same way I felt when I was a little girl. I was raised by a single Mom, her sister, my Grandmother and my Great-Grandmother. (((HUGS!))) Thank you!!!!!
Oh yes, the joy of blogland I have found here in these gentle pages and and so many other places in this sphere. I hope one day we'll have a gathering and meet face to face.

Christina- I am new to your blog. I work and when I need a little break I check some things that you have to say and it really makes me happy. I am in a point in my life where I am learning to celebrate and really notice what I actually like (spent too much of my life focused on duty) Just want to let you know how much you are helping me on my journey.
Peace and Love to you
Heather
and there are bloggers like yourself who bring gentleness in the world through their soft, kind words.
i love starting my weekend with this kind of peace and tranquility...
cheers to all the bloggers and women and a happy weekend to all
Some time ago I put the call out for people to send a simple letter in the mail to make someones day but it never took off. I put the call out for Snail Mail Angels but no one took up the challenge.
I am gald the idea has taken off elsewhere. If you email me your address I'll send you a poem I wrote and a little fridge magnet to go with it.
Sooo much sweetness... So glad you've got so much sweetness happening, Christina. Blogland and blog-heart-friends at the best. :o) Happy weekedn to you & yours ((HUGS))
Hey Miss Christina :)
I can't wait until you find your style, and share it here with us. Thanks for the link to Gennine's beautiful blog. xo
I feel more accepted, and safer with my blog friends! I don't know how that is, but I am definitely grateful! Especially you, my lovely Lady!
Some of my closest friends don't get why I blog, to me they are missing out on a rich world. I'm glad to be part of this. One love to you, my friend.
blogging has changed my life....
the women and men I "know" from blog land have blessed me in more ways than I can count...
I am a very lucky girl....
I'm aslo amazingly lucky to have found you....to know you.... through this amazing lifeline we call blogging :)
I so love visiting here. You always make me feel better about life.
isn't it true we are all tied together by an invisible thread of pure goodness. we all want the same things in life; to give and receive love.
you always speak truth when you sign it, 'one love'.
xoxo
Your words and your pictures always bring ME joy..and for that I thank YOU...and thanks for leading me to Geninne's blog...it is so creative and beautiful:)
So so sweet, I hug you through this comment box!
you are wonderfulness ~
a slice of morning sunshine with
a drizzle of honey:)
Ilove the thoughts shared, both the ones that bring smiles to my face and tears to my eyes. Thank you for always sharing your heart!
Beautiful post, dear Christina. Hula-hoops are my favourite! Yes, it's a wonderful thing being part of this amazing blogging community of kindred spirits. xoxox
i love geninne's art journals too, but mine are way more messy...can't wait to see yours. i'm TOTALLY sure you'll develop your own style.
and i'm impressed you got good service from dick blick. i guess it's because you live in the same country as them. because although they're willing to ship internationally, they are out to stiff the foreigners on over-priced shipping (and i mean WAY over-priced shipping). i guess they think the stupid foreigners won't know any better and they can make up their margins for their reasonably-priced art supplies. grr. oh, just talking about it makes me mad all over again...sorry to go off about those jerkies on your blog...
thinking happy serene thoughts about your fabulous art journal...
Oh so true Christina, this amazing place that is blogland is just filled with the most amazing stories, the most creative and inspiring women that really do feel like friends. Who knew that computer technology could generate such warmth and loveliness!
Talking of squealing with joy I am so excited that you are trying to create a journal, I am sure that it will be wonderful Christina whatever your style may be...:)
