visit

I am getting ready for my cousin and his family, to come over for brunch. I just went out to the garden and got a few sweet flowers for the table. I look forward to catching up with them. We live way too close to one another, to not see each other often.
This has been on my to do list~ visit with friends and family more.

Happy Weekend, friends!

Oh Christina! How beautiful and summery your table looks! I have wanted to ask you each time I see your beautiful table cloth where you got it from? It is so inviting. Now I want to know where you got your little piggy made of china on your table. Am I wrong in thinking this hold preserves?
Have a wonderful visit. I hope they feel and se how much you love them.

Alicia* the tablecloth is an oil cloth. I love it so much. I bought it at a health food store, here in Milwaukee. And yes- the little piggy is a strawberry preserves holder. : ) I purchased it on line- years ago. I can find out the maker for you. : )
MCIS* I love you, Lala!
A painter* Thank you lovely.
Diwakar Sinha* Whatever it may be that you are doing this weekend, have fun.

your table looks so elegant. for some reason it reminds me of a swiss table setting. i love the little pig.
isn't it crazy - sad - how many times we spend less time with the ones who live the closest to us

The table setting looks beautiful, perfect for brunch. This is one thing I think I should do more often is catch up with friends. I am planning a shopping trip and an over night stay in town with 3 girlfriends.

I hope you had a lovely brunch

oh it looks delicious! & the horizon photo a little bit down, just heaven on earth! & the breezes that loosen dreads, that was my favourite bit today! especially since i just spent a very agonizing 3 months of 13 hour sittings to put dreadlocks in my little brothers hair, what a feat! now, whenever i see someone out & about with dreads, i always want to go & inspect them :) hope your visit with family was beautiful!

Odd question - is that oil cloth on your table? I LOVE that pattern and bought some oil cloth just like it while I was in SF. The didn't have much left at all so I have enough to make a small tote bag. I wanted to make a table cloth.
