that moment

Last night, as I took a moment to write in my journal, the sun seemed to dance off my pen. The suns warmth found its way, right to the cozy chair, I was perched in.
There was a time in my life, where the sun could rise and set in the palms of my hands, and I wouldn't notice. I would walk without even looking at the beauty, that stood in front of me. I was a child who was finding her way, with eyes closed. But I digress...

I just wanted to take a moment to share the beauty that danced, right in front of me. I see it, with eyes wide open.
I appreciate the wonderful people in my life, who stopped what they were doing in life, to love me unconditionally. It made all the difference, in the way I see life. Loving myself, helped too. I dig that. ; )
One love~

Wonderful! I know what you mean, it's a happy person who can notice simple beauty of the world. But it does take a mind at peace to notice it.

I stopped to savour the flavour of old fashioned refrigerator cucumber pickles ... I had to dig out an old book to find a recipe that would make them taste like they did when we were kids ... it was perfect!
And here of course, I always stop here ...
one love back

It's when we forget to look around and see the world that we become unhappy!

Don't you just love moments such as these. I love when I hear birds sing or when the sun hits my perfume bottles on my dresser and it looks as if a tine rainbow is upon my dresser.

So lovely is your blog.

Yes, there are times when details are overlooked, because we're concentrating so hard on just surviving or getting through some tough period. Am so happy that you're now able to revel in the beauty in your life. xoxox

Ooooooh! I love blank pages right before we write on them. The way the paper gets all crinkly after - And your reflections fit right in there. You are a treasure, woman!

I love to write in a journal, the crisp, white, blank pages offering you to write a story. I love that you have opened your eyes to beauty and let us take a peek. :)

It's good to see the beauty that surrounds us from time to time. I've always been one who appreciates the beauty that surrounds me. Now if I could extend that beauty as well as you do. Have a great day.
